Laurel and Hardy are coming to the West! Stan Laurel (1890-1965) and Oliver Hardy (1892-1957) were two of the most popular slapstick comedy duos. They worked as a team in 107 films, starring in 32 short silent films, 40 short sound films, and 23 full-length feature films. This iconic pair didn't start off together in film but was finally paired up in 1927. Both had extensive film work prior to them working together. I've always loved these two. Like the Three Stooges, the comedic timing they possess is spot on. Oliver's "slow burn" look is classic along with Stan's well-meaning buffoonery. These two have attained a kind of immortality that few possess, as well as being class acts. I'll be seeing you here to take them in. Enjoy!
